ABOUT ME

Jacqueline Godbout is a Toronto-based performer, filmmaker, and coach. She has acted in many film, TV, and theatre projects.  She is one of the leads in the indie feature film A Girl, A Boy, A Penny, and a very very Long Road, which is now on Amazon Prime Video! She has also played soprano roles in theatre such as Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and Louise in Gypsy.

As a filmmaker, she directed, co-wrote, and co-produced her first short film Cheat Meal which is currently in it's film festival run. She also recently wrapped the short film The Uncanny Valley, in which she co-wrote, co-produced, and stars in. Jacqueline gravitates towards messy characters that show us that we are all just humans trying to navigate our hearts through this strange, complicated world. She hopes these stories and characters unite us, and make us braver to love, and connect with one another.
